good, thx for your feedback. Third opinion would be nice, but we have a general direction to later draw a more detailed map!
(free to anyone who wants to try, now i am more busy with finishing Atmora with the "Atmora-calling" team ;-) )

we have to scale down, else our mod would be ridiculously too small to match the expectations of the fans... EDIT: first general orientation where the project will focus on; i decided to focus on the akaviri kindom region; since 1) you arrive at the continent from west 2) it had perviously contact to Tamriel and Atmora 3) Tsaesci are the most dominant high culture civ on the continent 4) other races can easily find a place in that territory EDIT EDIT: 5) Spikedragonlords Tsaesci race model is likely the best for us to use and work with in race menu! so i would suggest to start with these "zones":

now this cheap sketch i made (didnt invest much time, being busy) is still up for debate, and just a general idea.
just consider please it needs to be limited to some extend and cannot cover the whole continent; also, it must be impossible for the player to hit the "invisible wall"

... I still would prefer it if it was more similar to the 2nd/3rd concept map. sure. If you have a look into my ugly sketch, you will find out its "zoomed in", else the idea was to use EXACTLY the map of 2cnd, 3rd picture here posted. The "zoomed in" thing can be problematic, as a few people might not understand where they actually are, BUT if we try to do the sizes immersively, there is no way, that we can landscape and cover the whole continent, which is as big as Tamriel... (unless you recruit me 200 crazy people within the next month who are hot on this kind of job ;-) lol ) EDIT: so the question now is only (since we already agreed on WHICH map we use) now, which part of it we will be working on; and of course, a Tsaesci city, maybe an abandoned imperial city and a small archipelago, some jungle and some mountains and swamps could give us plenty material at hands, so we need to circle an area where we can use those "bricks to build a wall"...

sounds about right. wow. a massive amount of work if well made, it would require a few people for sure. but its soo intresting and promising, there are definitely a few dedicated people out there...

no need to apologize, i have been pretty busy myself.
yes exactly. about members, i stated a plan in a pm just now. about concepting the first province, mapping is the next step.
then, what elements does the gameplay need for a nice walkthrough, does the province offer that....

too sad i cannot invest time. get gimp (free), watch how to use layers on youtube. get parchment textures ( free available) and place a lore friendly half transparent map of akavir below. then on a separate nee layer, paint the landscapes edges. on a new layer, import akavir/asian style symbols as map markers, alter them....
its all just a question of time but possible...

you could do same with mountain and tree and river and city symbols, being able to duplicate....

As a suggestion, if we want to take the assumption that rather than literally eating the Men of Akavir, the Tsaesci just assimilated (which would explain why the ancient blades are shown as men, and the Tsaesci messenger who go bitten on the leg by wolf on the way to Pale Pass) we could have either Ionith or Septimia be primarily populated by the Men, albeit with a relatively sizable amount of Tsaesci present as well, not sure if I should have stuck this in this thread though.
